Hello. I am a User Experience Researcher at American Express in the Enterprise Digital Design team. My responsibilities include managing a biweekly usability lab and working with stakeholders to gather cardmember feedback that informs the design of a range of products.
Prior to American Express, I was a Design Researcher at frog design. At frog I collaborated with cross-disciplinary teams to lead research on programs across a range of industries including technology, finance, healthcare, and connected home products.
My background is in filmmaking and ethnographic research. As Associate Director of Research at Bassett & Partners, I had a keen eye for finding the emotional sweet spot in every project. I led client-driven projects for Nike, Converse, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Dannon, SonoSite, MNML and agency-led assignments with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, and DDB. I have conducted research across markets in the US, UK, Italy, France, Germany, Spain and China with athletes, families, gamers, teenagers, influencers, experts, etc.
In May 2014, I was part of the inaugural graduating class in the groundbreaking, multidisciplinary MFA Products of Design program at the School of Visual Arts where students are challenged to solve complex design problems through a combination of design thinking, making, and doing.
In my spare time I love to hike, run, surf, travel and spend time with my rescue dog, Ruby. In 2016 I launched Citizen x Hound, a lifestyle brand for the modern dog.
